Someone should know better. Someone should have mentioned that combining already famous stars in the ill-termed “supergroup” rarely bodes well. Also, people should remember that if you get famous with one band, and you leave that band, it rarely means your next band will be just as successful. There are some exeptions to that rule. I guess Fun Boy Three had some good singles, but they weren’t The Specials, were they? So when I heard, many, many moons ago, that Terry Hall and Dave Stewart were teaming-up for their supergroup named “Vegas”, I did wince. I love The Specials, I didn’t mind the Eurythmics, but two rights doesn’t make another right. However, there were two good tracks from that album, one was “She” (which was a cover the famous original version) and the other was “Possessed”, another guilty pleasure.
