Third in my list of most commonly gifted books is this classic from Tim Ferriss. Living off a 4 hour week sounds incredulous and definitely sounds like some get rich quick scheme, but Tim Ferriss’ acclaimed book “The 4 Hour Work Week – Escape The 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join The New Rich” directs the reader to developing a range of passive incomes that will enable the reader to potentially leave the 9-5 grind behind. The recent digital revolution has given people a set of tools that were not available to previous generations, and as a result you can take those tools, apply some creative input and live off a series of passive income streams. What is refreshing for a book of this type is that Tim has walked the walked and documented how he has applied his theory to his own life, with astonishing results.

Yes, some people have looked very quizzically when I describe, what is in effect, a very simple concept and process. However, it does seem to be very effective. And who wouldn’t want to earn their money from just a small number of hours per week?
