In my previous post about the joys of a good To-Do list and how I enjoy Microsoft’s To-Do app, sometimes you need a reminder to pop up on your phone. The danger is that a To-Do list can be a static thing that can be forgotten about, lurking in a journal, diary or app. That is why I find Noterly a really useful companion to any form of To-Do list.
Noterly allows you to create a reminder or notification that will pop-up on your phone at the appropriate date and time. Simple, but very effective. This allows you to remind yourself of something that you need to attend to such as a making a call or checking on what next to do on your To-Do list. It shouldn’t replace your To-Do list, in my mind, as your To-Do list might contain a variety of tasks, lists or sub-tasks (admittedly Noterly can contain further information in the ‘body’ of the reminder, but I like to centralise my To-Do activities. Horses for courses) .
So I use Noterly as a gently nudge. An electronic whisper in the ear.
Noterly can be found on the Google Play Store and with more information here.
