Madness were never considered an “albums band” by the music press, who preferred to maintain that Madness produced great singles. Which they did, but I would maintain that in retrospect a lot of those journalists would have to reassess that assumption. What Madness were sometimes noted for was their brilliance when it came to B-sides. This one has always been a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.
