This a very long guilty pleasure… Journeys By DJ was a series of albums where DJs would mix all their favourite tracks into one epic audio adventure. I didn’t enjoy a lot of the more dance-focused albums, as that just wasn’t my scene. However, this particular album is a pure joy to behold. Coldcut mix a very hip-hop centric album ranging from classic hip-hop breakbeats through to very obscure samples. Carve out a slice of time to enjoy this masterclass in DJing.
