Another week, another rollercoaster of global proportions. Just what is going on out there!?
Someone set themselves on fire outside of Donald Trump’s latest courstcase. They left a manifesto. The manifesto had some really spurious claims about the wider world. The Unabomber also had a manifesto. The Unabomber’s manifesto is a little more robust in its approach and is more an attack on “Leftism”, plus it is a little less conspiracy orientated (I am not endorsing it in anyway). Too often manifesto’s come to light when they are linked to bad things happening. It reminded me of reading “100 Artists’ Manifestos: From the Futurists to the Stuckists“. Artists are great for making manifesto’s but it isn’t just the arty crowd you have written some inspiring manifestos.
But shouldn’t we all have a manifesto? Just what do we stand for? If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. Where exactly are we heading for and how are we going to get there? There are a few pointers to creating your own manifesto:
We all need something to stand by or stand for. But let’s make it positive. There’s no need to share it. Just live it.
