This is from the album “The Fine Art of Surfacing”. I bought the album purely because I loved the painting on the cover. Thankfully it turned out to be a great album. In my humble opinion, probably their best album. The track opens the album and gives a nice taster as to what to expect. The album is a bit post-punk so you still get the punk energy/vibes but plenty of variety across the album (more than 3 and a half chords). Avoiding all the big singles from the album, the rest of the album is great and includes one of my all time favourties songs “Sleep”, which has to be the greatest song about insomnia. If you’ve suffered insomnia, it will sound exactly like the experience. At least in my experience.
