I first saw the Family Cat supporting CarterUSM (and I think Mucky Pup were the first band on, that night). Straight away, you knew The Family Cat were different. They had an immense live sound that made it seem like they had 10 guitarists, 5 bass players and two drummers. Great tunes, amazing songs… but sadly they will be one of those bands that for whatever reason, never made it that big. Their last studio album ‘Magic Happens’, was just perfect. Anyway, here’s ‘Springing The Atom’ from that album.
